How big can you print?
Parts up to 256 × 256 × 256 mm in one piece. Larger parts are split and joined with pins and adhesive.
Can you design a part for me?
Yes. Basic modeling from measurements or photos starts at $25, and you keep the file.
What file types do you accept?
STL, 3MF, STEP and OBJ. STEP is best for mechanical parts because it keeps true dimensions.
How accurate are the parts?
Typically within ±0.2 mm. For press fits, tell us the mating part and we'll tune the tolerance.
How do I pay?
We accept Apple Pay and Venmo (@sandbprints2023). Most orders are paid in full before printing. Custom design work and large batches need a 50% deposit to start, with the rest due before pickup or shipping.
Do you ship?
Anywhere in the US by USPS or UPS with tracking: $9 under 1 lb, $14 for 1–3 lb, $22 for 3–10 lb, and heavier or oversized parts are quoted. Pickup in Centerville is free, local delivery in Davis County is $10, and both shipping and local delivery are free on orders over $75.
Do you offer better rates for large projects?
Yes. For big prints, long print times or large batches, the per-gram rate may be reduced. Send us the details and we'll quote the whole project.
Can I choose the color?
Most materials come in 10+ colors from stock. Need a color we don't have? We can order custom-color filament for your job. It may add a few days to the lead time and can change the price, and we'll confirm both in your quote.
